MONIN Basil syrup captures the fragrant, aromatic and peppery notes associated with fresh basil. Basil originates from India. Basil is part of the mint family. Basil has famous ties with culinary applications from drinks to cooking however it has been used throughout history for a variety of effects from embalming ancient Egyptian mummies to an antidote to snakebites. MONIN Basil syrup can be used in sodas, iced teas, cocktails and mocktails.
  • Flavour: Light anis, pepper and vegetal notes on the nose with fresh citrus and herbs on the palate
  • Used in cocktails, mocktails, sodas, smoothies and teas
  • Use 10-25ml per serve for cocktails, 20-30ml for Frappés and milkshakes, depending on recipe
