Slayer Steam Single is the most accessible SLAYER yet: a compact, plug-and-play single-group built on the Steam LP platform, with an internal 2.5L fresh-water reservoir (or optional plumbing) and a removable drip tray for easy non-plumbed setup. With independent PID-controlled brew and steam tanks, a 3-position group actuator for quick flow-rate changes, a dedicated programmable pre-infusion circuit, and “record & playback” for up to two saved recipes via the heads-up Barista Dashboard, it delivers repeatable, barista-led extractions alongside low-maintenance electronic steam valves and a commercial rotary vane pump.

The Slayer Steam Single is special because it distils the Steam LP experience into a true single-group, plug-and-play format—bringing Slayer’s signature barista control to sites that can’t (or don’t want to) plumb in. An internal 2.5L reservoir and removable drip tray make it genuinely flexible, while a dedicated pre-infusion water circuit helps gently saturate the puck for more balanced, repeatable extractions. Add the three-position brew actuator for on-the-fly flow changes plus “record & playback” of your best manual shot, and you get a compact machine that delivers café-grade performance with the theatre and control Slayer is known for.

These beans intrigued me with the 'Super Crema' adjective and so I ordered a 250 g pack to try and also offered it to a few colleagues for comment. The instant they tasted it they were over the lunar surface in a matter of seconds with positive vibes about this bean. I wasn't quite so sure as I was still making mine but what a taste - well rounded and smooth and very alive in the mouth, an absolute all rounder for many coffee making methods and well worth a try. Well priced as well.

Eureka Mignon Zero 65

After months of research into single dose coffee grinders and a poor experience with a DF grinder which I sent back, I took a leap of faith and it most definately paid off.

I was originally looking at the zero 55 as was on special offer, however had read lots of reviews about the the bigger dial making small adjustments much easier and with the upgraded 65mm burrs, plus the catch cup cover to prevent mess, it just met all my needs including looking great and being within my budget.

I’ve been using this for a couple of months now and find dialling in simple along with getting consistent shots with excellent flavour.
Finding the zero point was easy enough and there are plenty of videos online to support with this.

A big bonus I've found is getting zero static or mess and no cloggging of the chute at this point. I find the bellows do an excellent job at clearing the grinds.
I would 100% recommend this grinder.

Fantastic, beautiful product

Every espresso machine owner needs a tamping mat, so why not have a beautiful black cat-shaped one?
It is really cute, and super practical as well - a tamper sits comfortably on the cat's head, a groove is available for spouted portafilters (works well with the stock Gaggia Classic portafilter) and there is just enough space to the right of that to tamp a naked/bottomless portafilter.
Would be a great gift for the cat & espresso lover in your life (which can be yourself..!)
