Faema E71E is aimed at operators who want the theatre and control of a traditional espresso machine, backed by the technical precision needed for modern coffee service. Its independent groups, dedicated coffee boilers and GTi-managed hydraulic system are all focused on maintaining stable extraction conditions while giving the barista the freedom to work coffee by coffee.

In day-to-day use, the machine also reflects a strong focus on ergonomics and maintainability. Redesigned filter holders, articulated steam wands, a telescopic hot water wand, removable Competition Faema spray heads and clear OLED group displays all contribute to a workflow that feels purposeful, practical and built for busy professional settings.

What sets the Faema E71E apart is the way it combines manual barista interaction with tightly controlled brew architecture. Each group works with its own independent coffee boiler, allowing different coffees or recipes to be managed at their intended temperatures. The hydraulic circuit with Faema’s GTi system is designed to control infusion times precisely, supporting thermal stability and helping bring out the sensory profile of each coffee more accurately.

The group design is paired with an individual display for each group, so the barista can monitor and interact with brewing parameters more directly. This makes the machine especially well suited to specialty environments where recipe clarity, repeatability and responsive workflow all play an important role during service.

Beyond brewing, the E71E has been engineered to improve movement and usability across the machine. The long articulated cold touch steam wands are designed for greater flexibility and visibility, especially when working with taller milk jugs. Adjustable pump pressure can be set externally for quick manual calibration, while the modular steam lever offers progressive opening with two locking positions at 50% and 100%, giving the barista more deliberate control over steam delivery.

I bought this model, since it has no display and just grinds coffee beans. It's a shame that most of the regular grinders from Eureka have displays on these days. I wasn't in the market for a single dose grinder but it is actually really useful for switching between decaf and normal.
