The Kinto Faro drip pot is wonderful. This was a nostalgia trip. I’ve been on the look out for a French drip pot since my ancient Apilco pot was broken in a move. They’ve obviously fallen out of favour, but I saw the Faro on your website while searching for Chemex papers.

I’ve been using an Aeropress for years and am very happy with what comes out the bottom of that but the Faro is a well designed and carefully thought out single cup coffee brewer. The markings on the basket show you how much water and coffee to put in (if you’re not into weighing) and the hole in the bottom of the dripper unit is just the right size for a perfectly timed brew (you might want to play with your grind settings for perfection). It looks good, it’s simple to use and clean and makes a damn fine cup of Joe.
