Had looked around for a while at different scales at different prices. Eventually chose this one as I know and trust the brand, it's at the right price, and it keeps it simple.

I'm put off by some scale prices but this Bodum one being sold by Clumsy Goat is spot on. Feels solid, seems quite accurate (from the time I've used it) and I dig the design of it. Really nice. Spot on...thanks Clumsy Goat!

I bought the attractive Bodum to measure my 18.5g of beans and time my extractions. It is a good looking set of scales but a bit slow to register a bean being added. On occasion it has been inaccurate on measuring. However, I do love the flash of the screen to let me know when 30 seconds has passed.

This scale is not good. I would have returned it but I’ve already thrown away the box. The scale will give a different reading if you lift up the bowl and put it back down, this can vary between 0.1g-0.4g, this is not suitable when making espresso. It is also much to big to fit on a drip tray with a coffee cup on it.

This scale may be ok for general kitchen weighing but it is not suitable for weighing coffee beans or timing espresso shots.
